1. A minimum of 18 credit hours is needed to complete the minor.
2. Prerequisites and corequisites for all courses must be satisfied. Please consult the University Catalog for the latest statement of these requirements.
3. The third required course in the Minor: BDS 3134 Choice and Behavior or PPE 2894 PPE Gateway Course or SOC 2004 Social Problems, must be taken before or concurrently with BDS 4864 Developing Behavioral Science Policies and Interventions.
4. All course to fulfill the BDS minor requirements must be taken A/F and be completed with a minimum GPA of 2.0. Students must also maintain an overall GPA of 2.0.
5. Students must complete at least three Pathways core concepts through the Minor coursework. BDS 2005 and 2006 fulfill Concept 3 and Ethical Reasoning, and depending on student choice of the third required course, electives, and Capstone course options available in the Minor students may fulfill Pathways Concepts 1, 2, 4, 5 and/or 7. Students must choose at least one course aligned with Intercultural & Global Awareness. Note that the independent research options for the Capstone (BDS 4974, BDS 4974H, BDS 4994 and BDS 4994H) are not designated Pathways courses.
6. Students must completed at least 6 credits at the 3000/4000 level. The Capstone course will fulfill 3 of these 6 credits.
